Wheel-thrown in stoneware and glazed in deep moss green. The rim is thrown to be hollow, giving the plate its soft, inflated form while keeping it lightweight. A subtle throwing spiral is left visible across the centre of the plate, breaking up the flow of the glaze.
The deep moss glaze varies between dark green and almost black, with warmer brown tones appearing around the edges. Some plates come out a little lighter or darker than others, giving the range natural variation. If you have a preference, please add a note to your order and I’ll do my best to accommodate it.
