A coffee cup, wheel-thrown in toffee stoneware that fires to a warm sand tone. The exterior is left unglazed, preserving the natural matte surface of the clay, while the interior is finished in a glossy transparent glaze, creating a tactile contrast. The form is simple and slightly tapered, designed for the most common coffee sizes and a comfortable hold. The walls and base are left ever so slightly thicker to retain heat and ensure the cup remains comfortable to hold.
